How often should my unit be serviced?
We recommend servicing your air purifier whenever you notice a significant decrease in performance. To keep it running at its best, be sure to clean it regularly.
How often should I replace my air filter?
We recommend replacing your air filter every 6 months and cleaning it once a month.
How often should I replace my RCI Cell?
How often should I replace an ozone plate?
We recommend replacing your ozone plate every 6 months to 1 year.
Why don’t I feel that same fresh air my unit used to produce?
When cleaning your unit and accessories, make sure they are free of dirt and debris. Also, check that the ozone plate is installed correctly. If you’re still experiencing issues, try replacing the ozone plate. If your unit continues to underperform, consider sending it in for repair. Following these steps will help ensure your unit operates correctly and delivers optimal performance.
My air purifier produces too much ozone odor. What can I do?
Avoid setting your air purifier’s square footage to match the full size of your home. Lowering the square footage setting will reduce the amount of ozone produced.

How much would it cost to repair my air purifier and what does this service include?
Locate the picture of your air purifier in our Repair Services category and click on it to go to the next page, where the price and details of the service are displayed. If you do not see the picture of the air purifier you need repaired, please contact us for an estimate.
How long will it take to have my air purifier repaired?
What do I send with my air purifier?
Along with your air purifier, please include the invoice that you printed when placing your order. If you don’t have a printer, write the requested information on a sheet of paper instead.
Where do I ship my air purifier for repairs?
You may send your air purifier for repair only after placing your order. Once your order is placed, we will provide you with an order number, our Los Angeles, California shipping address, and shipping recommendations.
If you live in the Los Angeles area and would like to drop off your unit after placing your order, you are welcome to do so to save on shipping costs. Please make sure the unit is securely boxed, and write the order number on all sides of the box.
When and how do I pay for a repair?
Payment is made at the time you submit your order. We accept Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, and American Express®.
Ozone
What is ozone?
Ozone (O₃) is a gas composed of three oxygen atoms. It can neutralize certain viruses, bacteria, and odors. However, it can be harmful if inhaled in high concentrations and should be used with caution to protect people and pets.
When should I use the ozone feature on my air purifier?
Only activate the ozone feature when the room is empty—no people or animals should be present. Once the air quality improves, either ventilate the room by letting in fresh air or wait for the ozone to dissipate on its own. Ozone has an average half-life of about 20 minutes, so in an unventilated space, waiting one hour generally allows levels to return to normal.
How long and how often should I run the ozone feature?
Will ozone completely eliminate all odors, viruses, and bacteria?
Ozone can be effective against many indoor pollutants, but it is not a silver bullet. Complex odors, mold spores, and some pathogens may require additional air purifying methods or professional remediation. Think of ozone as one component of a broader air-quality strategy.
How do I reset my Fresh Air Space Pro?
- Step 1: Make sure the device is plugged into a power source. Then, turn off your Fresh Air Space Pro.
- Step 2: Press the RESET button once (the RESET button still functions, despite the icon not being illuminated on the display). Alternatively, you can press the RESET button on the remote.
Fresh Air Mini
How do I reset my Fresh Air Mini?
- Step 1: While the device is plugged into a power source, turn off your Fresh Air Mini.
- Step 2: Press the AWAY button once (the AWAY button still functions, despite the icon not being illuminated on the display).
